Happy times are here..

To our Family and Friends,

It's been a while since Ron and I have written in our spiritual marriage blog.  We have been living a wonderful life of getting to know each other. We have now been married 23 months.  Everyday is special and we thank our Heavenly Father for waking us up each morning and smiling in each others arms. We have learned to take time to listen to each other daily and putting ourselves into the heart of what our loved one may be experiencing. We try not to react in a negative way to each other, but try to respond with love, compassion and gentleness. We pray at every meal and read the bible or a devotional at night with each other. Our home is a place where we feel loved.

A new blessing in our family is Maggie, our new granddaughter who is now 2 months old. She is so sweet and her sister, Alyssa, loves to hold and take care of her with mom and dad's help.
Ron and I had our granddaughter's over a few weeks ago while their dad and mom went on a date. It was an honor to love on our grandchildren. I enjoyed every moment watching grandpa Ron color and play games with Alyssa. I got the best part...holding Maggie.

Ron had a surprise birthday party that the family gave him, and, oh yes he was surprised. Believe it or not I have been trying to give him a surprise birthday party for 2 years. It finally happened. We danced to "Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night, and yes he can swing it. Ha. Ha. We had a contest on who could make the best whistling birds sounds. Alyssa won that contest. So much fun. A truly fun night with the family.

We continue doing our ministry, "Jesus without Borders", with  our friends  and we now we visit
a womens shelter.
       Love in Christ
