TOGETHER.......

Together family and friends,

Yes, together we are here to share and help each other. " We love, because Christ first loved us."                    1st John 4:19
I was just thinking how blessed we are to have beautiful and supportive families and friends.  So many of you have gifts that God has given you and you are helping us with our Wedding. For instance, our cake is being made by our friend Debra Reeve who just took a cake decorating class.  My jewelry was made by my dear sweet sister Sandy. Ethel has made over 45o cookies with love , and she is Ron's and mine's spiritual mom. My spiritual sister Stacy is making banana nut bread. Thank you Tyla and Janeen for helping us with the preparations of the wedding.  My mom Esther has a beautiful voice and will be singing at the wedding . She carries a tone that is out of this world. My sister-in-law, Dove, made thank you cards. Every one is so special. Maria will be taking our pictures at the wedding and you will be able to go to her  web site and order copies. She will also make us an album which is truly a gift from heaven. Virginia and Barbara at church will be helping with the program flyer. Genny will play piano music hymns expressing the Spirit of the Lord. Andy her husband will do the sound system. My son Thomas  and Kerry who have done so much for us. He is the computer wiz. He designed the Save the date postcards and the invitations to our wedding. Along with those things he has helped us with our website "Jesus without borders" Ministry soon to be on live. Judy my daughter  is making the flowers and decorations for the wedding. She is a display manager for Penneys an knows her stuff. We are also thankful for Son Junior and Fabie. He helps me with my car. Even though he is in Texas. He is still an advisor on the Honda.   Ron's brother John and Cindy are making us something so special it's a surprise. Our special friend Robin will be making us a banner for our reception and she has so much visual talent. We can hardly wait to see it. Our dearest friend Erin and her hubby will be making a dvd of the wedding. After the wedding they will ask anyone who like to express words of wisdom to us and record that on a special dvd.   Thank you all for helping us for this is what our Lord wants us to do. Serve each other. We will always keep the memories dear to our hearts. Our wedding is bringing our family and friends together. That is the greatest give you can give us. We will be looking for all of you and smiling.
I truly am looking forward to sharing my life with my beloved Ron.

We have now a wedding registry at JC Penney. It is under Lena Newman and Ron Anderson.
Also a ministry:   "Jesus without borders"      website: jesuswithoutbordersministry.com
We indeed will cherish the moment when we all come together with our Lord to share with our families and friends this miracle of marriage. We are asking our Lord to be present as we take those special vows in the holy presence with him.

Only 31 more days to go.....

Hi everyone,
Thanks for letting us know if you are coming to our wedding.

Time is flying by and we have only 31 more days before our Blessed Wedding day. Ron and I are doing the finishing touches and preparing the program for our Wedding. We have an introduction of how we feel the Lord has brought us together.  My mother will be singing a special song and a few other surprises for you. We pray our wedding will leave you with the spirit of God's LOVE  and the BEAUTY of Jesus' touch in your heart.

Oh yes, Ron had a big  big birthday on August 9th. Ha. Ha. He enjoyed his favorite meal. The highlight was this Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Cake. His favorite sweets are chocolate. Ha. Ha. We went to Baskins and Robbins ice cream later that night. Ron had the biggest grin on his face. Ice cream does a man good.

I had a wonderful birthday, however too much ice cream can spoil a man!!!!!
I am truly blessed to be marrying Lena. I look forward to getting married, and do not have cold feet. My feet can't wait to get married and they wish the wedding day would hurry up.
Thanks everyone for your love and support. It is humbling to now how many people care about Lena and I. We hope we can return that love in the future.

If you have questions on how to get to the church or other questions about the wedding please leave a comment on this site or email me at ironquaker@gmail.com or Lena at pinkyface48@sbcglobal.net. We have had 120 visits on this site and look forward to hearing from you.

A BLESSING ON OUR NEW APARTMENT

Hi Family and Friends,

Ron and I have blessed our apartment on Sunday 26th of July in the presence of our Heavenly  Father. Our Lord now dwells here and we are grateful for all he has done for us. Our love
comes from him. As we receive his love our love for each other grows. This is God's miracle for us. We had our friends Tim and Eppie over and did our Ministry "Jesus Without Borders"with them and prayed with them.
We are getting excited as the weeks get closer to our wedding.  Family and Friends please let us know if you have any question concerning the wedding. We are always praying for our friends and family. We can hardly wait to see you at the our wedding. Please leave a comment so we know people are getting our wedding information.

WEDDING INFORMATION

The time of our wedding is coming quickly, and Lena and I are excited. We would like to share our plans with you. The location of the church is in East Sacramento, near McKinley park. We would also suggest that you check out Mapquest for detailed directions.
We are delighted that our friends and family are excited for us and want to help.
We also appreciate that people want to give us gifts. Your presence at our wedding would be the greatest gift you could give us and to share in our joy of marriage. If you would like to give us a wedding gift we would like it to be of a personal nature that we can remember you by. If you would like to give money, that would be helpful to use in our Jesus Without Borders Ministry. God has blessed us with  this ministry to reach out to people who can't get to church or don't feel comfortable in a traditional church setting.
As the time draws nearer we  have a special request to our family and friends and that is for you to pray for us during this happy time that God has blessed us being together for his purpose to serve him as we marry. We love you all and look forward to hearing from you. Please leave comments when you visit our blog so we know you are getting the information you need.
Love in Christ, Ron & Lena

Our Marriage is getting closer!!!!!

My dear family and friends,

We can hardly believe it only two more months and we will be married in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. I just moved into our new beautiful apartment #35 at Westlake. Ron will move in on that special day September 19th when we wed.  I had lots of help moving with Ron, Thomas, Kerry, Alyssa(my 2 year old granddaughter), Ethel, Connie, Guy and Tarik. We did it in a day!! Can you believe it?
We are sending out the invitations to the wedding now and many of you have received them. We are hoping you can join us and experience our joy in our love with Christ as we marry on this special day.  We will change our vows in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. It will be a spiritual experience you won't forget. Please call and let us know if you can attend.  I love you all so much and pray for you always.
In Christ's Love,
Lena

Hi
This is Ron. I am back from Iowa. I am so thankful that Lena could come  back and see where I grew up and meet some of my family and friends. It was a blessing for us to visit my parents grave site at the Rock Island Arsenal in Moline Il, just across the river from Iowa. We prayed and talked about my parents. I wish they could have met Lena. I know they would have been excited and happy for us. Lena was also able to meet some friends of my parents and get a clearer idea of they kind of people they were. I also showed her the schools I went to and other local places of note. Having Lena go with me was a big help in getting us started in cleaning up my parents place and to get the estate closer to being settled. We had a wonderful time together.
Please keep visiting the website. We will keep everybody updated on our wedding plans. We will be sending out the invitations in the next couple of weeks. Lena and I look forward to sharing with you in the blessing of God bringing us together for His purpose.
                                                                    In Christ Love
                                                                                      Ron

WE ARE BACK FROM OUR VACATION !!!!!!!

Hi family and friends,

What a wonderful experience it was seeing the Mississippi River and a showboat going down the river. There were so many farms with red barns and lots of corn going all over. Where Ron lived there were large yards, with a bunny or two hopping around with no fences to divide the yards. Many of the towns are lot smaller than what we used to in Sacramento. Some towns have 500 to 1,000 people living there.  We saw fireflies that light up at dusk. Ron took me on a ride to Illinois only 10 minutes away from his hometown and I saw a Dutch windmill that was so cool. They actually make cornmeal out of corn when the winds pick up. We visited a famous park called Eagles Point. It has a castle that Ron used to climb as a child. The weather there was hot(90 degrees) and sometimes rainy with lots of humidity. The clouds were  so breathtaking at dusk with beautiful colors of blue, purple and yellow. I met his youngest brother Howard, his wife Faby and child Ana.(she is 5 years old) who live in Iowa. Ana called me Auntie Lena and made me feel at home and already part of the family
I pick Ron up tonight at the airport. He stayed extra week to finish up some family business. All in all this was quite fun for me and I will keep these memories in my heart. Have a Safe and Happy 4th. We will be thinking of you. We have about 80 days left until the wedding.!!!

I love you all in Christ's name,
Lena and My Beloved Ron
